Call for Papers (Africa Journal of Social Transformation)

The African Journal of Social Transformation (AJST) is a bi-annual double-blind peer-reviewed journal of the Institute for Social Transformation, Tangaza University College, Nairobi, Kenya. The aim of journal is to provide a platform for scholars and practitioners to help improve lives around the world with practical, high-quality submissions that highlight social transformation. This call for papers interrogates the linkages between Culture and Social Transformation; Peace, Security and Social Transformation; Sustainable Development and Social Transformation; Religion and Social Transformation; as well as Entrepreneurship and Social Transformation. The papers can be empirical, conceptual or review in approach.

Important Deadlines

Paper Submission: 15th October, 2023

Notification of Acceptance of the paper: 21st November, 2023

Final Paper Submission (with changes): 21st December, 2023

Paper Publication Policy

  • Papers to be published in AJST journal must be the original work of the author/s that has not been published previously in any manner.
  • Upon acceptance of the paper, copyright form should be signed by all authors and submitted with the final manuscript.
  • All submitted manuscripts will be subjected to a plagiarism check.
  • All of the AJST’s articles are published on an Open Access platform.
  • For this call, there are no Article Processing Charges (APC)
