About Course

The MA in social transformation is the first Master’s degree in Social Transformation in Africa. It is designed to provide learners with skills to design innovative and practical solutions to address contemporary problems that hinder transformation of the continent. It is a unique program that transforms one’s vision as a change maker into reality and enable authentic leaders to play their role effectively and realize needed transformation in society.

Requirements

  • Be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of upper second-class honours or its equivalent from a recognized university.

Intake: August, January, and May

Duration: 18 months

Mode of Study: Full time (Fridays & Saturdays) / Evening. (Monday 5pm-8pm, Tuesday 5pm-8pm & Saturday 8:30am-5pm)

This MA programme prepares students for various roles in society such as: Organizational Management, Security & Sustainable Peace, Sustainable Development and Governance.

Students also develop an appreciation for the interaction and complementary nature between science and religion.
