The Annual African Conference on Social Entrepreneurship (AACOSE) is an initiative set in place by Tangaza University College and Ashoka, an organisation which supports Social Entrepreneurs who are change makers globally, to foster the interaction between the key actors who contribute to creating favourable conditions for the growth of sustainable social enterprises in Africa. These key actors include leading social entrepreneurs, academicians, policymakers, international development players, multi-nationals, impact investors and other funders, business executives and other leaders drawn from across Africa and beyond.
This fourth session of the conference will focus on the theme, “SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP: A PARADIGM FOR INCLUSIVE ECONOMIC RECOVERY AND GROWTH” and will be championing Social Entrepreneurship in the African market, ensuring their business sustainability even in the face of global challenges and pandemics, and crafting practical solutions to address these challenges.
AACOSE 4 will seek to uncover answers to critical questions that the governments, social entrepreneurs, development and private-sector stakeholders are grappling with, through a sector-specific lens on:
- Health Systems
- Sustainable Food and Agriculture
- Education and the arts economy
